Time Flies...
Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 05:29AM When I started receiving my renewal information for the various organizations like Intuit ProAdvisor, Sleeter Group, NACPB, it dawned on me that Quicksilver Business Solutions has started it's fifth year of operation, or "fifth year of success" which is how our Business Administrator described it on my invitation to our staff to celebrate with me at a luncheon later this month.
When I first started in 2007, I wasn't sure anyone would need my services. Now I know that there are many, many small companies throughout the USA that need just what we provide. Looking back, our first two years were really about figuring out exactly what was our niche, and honing all our procedures to be able to create the best client experience. At times we added services, but Virtual Monthly Accounting was always our core area that did best. In the last year we have re-branded and recentered our self to concentrate in only our two main areas, Accounting and QuickBooks training.
I find it interesting that several companies can start out with the same offering, but some don't make it, while others become very successful. I've wondered if its because of sheer ambition of the management team, personality or attitude of the owner, the background they come with that gives them a different perspective, constant searching of additional knowledge, or all of the above that helps them create the proper model. Studying each of my clients, all entrepeneurs in their own right, I am always searching for that one quality that makes them shine in their fields above all others which helps us guide them.
We are very grateful to all our clients that allow us to become their partner each and every day, and look forward to meeting those new clients that are looking for a company they can trust and who's staff is always attainable.
Of course, we couldn't have accomplished this level of success without a great staff that works as hard as I do. I am truly blessed to be the owner and CEO of Quicksilver Business Solutions.
