Password Protection

I ran across a good article about password protection. After reading it, I realized I really was leaving some of my critical data open to easy retreival by 'the dark side'.  Here are the suggestions- you might want to institute also.

Here are the basics-  Your password should:

-  Contain a minimum of 8 characters

-  Don't use any word found in the dictionary- in any language

-  Should be a combination of numbers, letters, symbols in upper and lower case

-  Not to include any personal information- like your dog's name, address, etc

-  Lastly, compartmentilize your passwords on a need to know basis
